Communication Powerhouse
The Ray90 is equipped with a powerful 25W transmitter and commercial-grade electronics for long life and high performance. Channel scan, dual-watch, tri-watch, and weather alerts are standard features. The integrated GPS makes setting up modern safety and calling functions easy. Simply enter your vessel’s MMSI number during setup and you’re ready to go. Please note that depending on the installation location of the radio, the integrated GPS receiver may not receive a sufficient GPS signal. In this case, it is recommended to either use the separately available GA200 GPS antenna or to input GPS data from an NMEA2000 network.
Position Tracking
The Ray90’s position tracking function allows you to monitor up to five DSC-equipped vessels in your vicinity. Positions are automatically shared with your Raymarine MFD. In Europe, the radio supports the ATIS system on navigable inland waterways.
Megaphone
With the Ray90’s integrated megaphone, you will be heard on deck and throughout the harbor. Connect an optional megaphone and announce your presence with 30 watts of audio and two-way communication. In foggy conditions, the megaphone can be configured to automatically broadcast necessary fog signals to racing boats and sailboats both on the water and at anchor.
Waterproof and rugged
The Ray90 transceiver is constructed from solid aluminum for shock and vibration resistance and maximum heat dissipation. For excellent readability in all conditions, the RayMic handheld features a bright backlight. The oversized buttons provide a secure grip and easy access to frequently used functions.
